A new addition to our much-loved Chennai Collection the Savita is the perfect day to night handbag. Roomy enough for all the essentials yet stylish & compact. Hand-woven by skilled Indian woman this technique, traditionally reserved for bamboo or rattan, of basket weaving is made with thin strips of soft leather. Our leather is organically tanned using a method called Vegetable Tanning which is considered to be the most eco-friendly way to treat leather and one of the oldest methods still in practice. The traditional weaving process means a beautiful, sturdy bag, built to last a lifetime.

Our Chennai Collection is designed in Australia and crafted by hand in India. All aspects of production are based on slow fashion and fair trade principles.
Shipping:
Shipping within Australia is free for all orders over $150, for orders under this it is a flat rate of $9.95. International shipping is charged at a flat rate of $30AUD for up to 2 items. Your purchase will be shipped within 2 business days of payment being received, via registered post or courier.

All products are thoroughly checked to ensure they are in perfect condition before shipping & care is taken with packaging to ensure items reach you in this same perfect condition. Please contact us to discuss your options for exchange or refund within 14 days of receiving your purchase if you are unhappy with your purchase.

Warranty:
We offer a 12 month warranty (from date of purchase) on all Empire of Bees products, covering faulty workmanship and materials. It does not cover general wear and tear, neglect or misuse of our products.
Empire of Bees leather goods are all made with the highest quality full grain leather which means natural variations in colour and texture will be present and these are not considered faults but a testament to the natural qualities of the hide. Over time our leather may darken or lighten in colour or stretch slightly and again these are not considered faults.
To submit a warranty claim, please email us at hello@empireofbees.com.au with details of your issue along with photographs of your product and proof of purchase. If assessed as a genuine fault, we will then determine whether to repair or replace and cover all related shipping costs.
